This year the SEM will be held at Mercedes-Bens World, from June 29th – July 5th 2019.
Located in Weybridge, Surrey, UK, it is home to the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit, which was built on the belief that to push the boundaries of the future of mobility, you have to invest in spaces for people to test their ideas.
While the historic Brooklands Circuit was built for speed testing, it’s in this same spirit of innovation that hopes to stretch the limits of energy efficiency transportation.
The contest is between 150 teams from all over Europe. The goal is to drive 11 laps (15,62km) within 39 minutes, using as little energy as possible.
This year we will drive our improved car, which competes in the Battery Electric Urban Concept category. The first goal is to double our efficienty of last year. (40.8 km/kWh)
