De BlueBolt heeft zojuist een gekwalificeerd resultaat van 534 kilometer per liter neergezet! Nog één ronde te gaan, waarin we alles op alles gaan zetten om het resultaat te overtreffen!

Blue Racing Team stole the show at IndustrieTOP
On the 20th of April, The Blue Racing Team was present at 
the second edition of the IndustrieTOP Midden Nederland, which took place at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. Over 150 companies were present in the atrium for the ‘Smart Circularity’ theme. Blue Racing Team’s car, named ‘Blue Bolt’ for it’s elegant blue design, drew full attention. This was a great way to meet potential sponsors. In the weekend of Pentecost, Blue Racing Team will travel to Le Mans, France, to compete in the Shell Eco-marathon Challenger Event. Blue Racing Team steelt show op IndustrieTOP
Op woensdag 20 april was het Blue Racing Team aanwezig bij de tweede editie van de IndustrieTOP Midden Nederland dat plaats vond op Windesheim. In het Atrium hielden meer dan 150 bedrijven zich bezig met het thema ‘Smart Circularity’. Het Blue Racing Team van Windesheim was aanwezig met haar nieuwe auto, waarmee ze veel bekijks trok. In het Pinksterweekend gaan de studenten van het multidisciplinaire Blue Racing Team naar Le Mans, Frankrijk, om daar mee te doen met de Shell Eco Marathon. SLS printer
The SLS printer (a 3D-printer) of Windesheim can be used again after a production stop. We tried it right away, with result! These are the side mirrors and gas/brake pedals

De SLS printer (een 3d printer die vanuit poeder print) van Windesheim kan weer gebruikt worden na een productiestop. We hebben de printer meteen maar eens goed zijn best laten doen, mét resultaat!
Extra tijd
Afgelopen week hadden veel leden van Blue Racing extra tijd om te werken aan onze ultra-efficiënte auto. Dit heeft goede resultaten opgebracht!
De constructieve delen zijn (op de bevestigingspunten na) af, en een groot aantal aluminium hoge-precisie onderdelen zijn gereed. Ook zijn de testen voor de componenten voorbereid.
Extra time to work
A lot of the members of Blue Racing had some extra time to work on our ultra-efficient car. With great results!
All constructive parts (apart from the suspension points of the body) are finished. Also, a great amount of high-precise aluminum parts are ready. The testplan for these components is prepared.
Misschien geven we ons nu wel wat teveel bloot…
